Our Class 2 Division 2 Vacuums are NFPA compliant with the requirements of NFPA 652 Clause 8.4.2.2.1.7.

In the old days a plant manager would purchase a grounded vacuum that met minimal safety standards for XP dusts and locations. Over the last few years that has changed and bid specs are specifically calling calling for HAZLOC vacuums that are properly certified by a 3rd party testing lab.

​The CD-55L and CD-100L are available in 230V, 460V and 575V 3-Phase. Ranging from 2HP up to 7.5HP. All models are 304 Stainless, have manual filter-shakers, detachable tanks, and are rated for continuous-duty operation.

In addition to having the largest primary filters in the industry, the CD-55L and CD-100L also have HEPA filter with an efficiency of 99.995% at 0.3 micron. Tested IEST-RP-CC001. H14 by MPPS method as per EN 1822 and OSHA compliant.

A dust ignition protected vacuum cleaner is a vacuum cleaner that is enclosed in a manner that excludes dusts and does not permit arcs, sparks or heat otherwise generated or liberated inside of the enclosure to cause ignition of exterior accumulations or atmospheric suspensions of a specified dust on, or in the vicinity of, the vacuum cleaner. To be considered as being dust ignition protected, a vacuum cleaner must be certified by a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL).
