Our explosion proof vacuum cleaners are legally certified by a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) recognized by OSHA.

The EXP1-20L is highly portable and plugs directly into 110v AC power.

The EXP1-55L DT EXTENDED (MFS) RE HEPA is a 110V portable Explosion-Proof Vacuum for vacuuming of dry explosive powders, such as flour, sugar, pharmaceutical dusts and vitamin or cosmetic powders. Our vacuums are certified by OSHA testing labs that are overseen by NRTL. Each EXP1 vacuum ships with it’s own static-conductive hose & tool kit. In addition we also have a full range of specialty static-conductive vacuuming tools, such as overhead pipe tools and wall brushes, extension wands, etc.

A dust ignition protected vacuum cleaner is a vacuum cleaner that is enclosed in a manner that excludes dusts and does not permit arcs, sparks or heat otherwise generated or liberated inside of the enclosure to cause ignition of exterior accumulations or atmospheric suspensions of a specified dust on, or in the vicinity of, the vacuum cleaner. Vacuum hoses can build up a lot of static electricity. The static is usually caused by friction that occurs when you have particles rapidly rubbing up against the interior of the hose. For that reason having a hose that dissipates static is very important, especially in hazardous locations. StatMax Vacuum Hose is made with proprietary conductive urethane resins making the hose material itself completely static dissipating.

In addition to being static dissipative, the Statmax also has a copper wire that is embedded within the helix of the hose. It provides an additional path to ground. Click here for more information on grounded hoses.

Our three phase electrically operated models are equipped with certified induction motors with regenerative blowers rated for continuous duty. Ideal for large volume recovery and for process integration. All electrical components used in the construction of our industrial explosion proof vacuums are individually certified and provide the highest Equipment Protection Level (EPL). Tiger-Vac explosion proof vacuum cleaners are legally certified by a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) recognized by OSHA. A copy of our Certificate of Compliance can be provided. Our three phase electrically operated explosion proof / dust ignition proof vacuum cleaners are designed and certified for use in Class I - Div 1 - Groups D and in Class II -Div 1 - Groups F & G Hazardous Locations as defined in the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). A certified Class II – Div 1 - Group E version is also available.
